Educational Qualification
For Senior Laboratory Technician (NTEP):
Option 1:
• M.Sc Medical Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/General Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with or without DMLT
• 2 years work experience in TB Laboratory Tests (Genotypic/Phenotypic)
• M.Sc Medical Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/General Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with or without DMLT
• 2 years work experience in TB Laboratory Tests (Genotypic/Phenotypic)
Option 2:
• B.Sc Microbiology with DMLT / B.Sc Biotechnology with DMLT / B.Sc Biochemistry with DMLT / B.Sc Chemistry with DMLT / B.Sc Life Science with DMLT / B.Sc Botany with DMLT / B.Sc Zoology with DMLT
• 3 years work experience in TB Laboratory Tests (Genotypic/Phenotypic)
• B.Sc Microbiology with DMLT / B.Sc Biotechnology with DMLT / B.Sc Biochemistry with DMLT / B.Sc Chemistry with DMLT / B.Sc Life Science with DMLT / B.Sc Botany with DMLT / B.Sc Zoology with DMLT

Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Total Questions: 75
- Total Marks: 100 (75 marks for CBT + 25 marks for experience)
- Time Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deduction for wrong answer
- Weightage for CBT: 0.8 (i.e., 50 x 0.8 = 40 marks)
- Experience Marks: 20 marks (for COVID-19 related work experience)
